*Kenneth H. Cooper is a doctor of medicine and former Air Force Colonel from Oklahoma, who pioneered the benefits of doing aerobic exercise for maintaining and improving health. He is known worldwide as the father of aerobics, having coined the term aerobics in 1966. He is the author of 19 books on fitness (the first being “Aerobics” in 1968), an international lecturer, and a fitness researcher.
